Somers, Telephone (843) 218-5976; Fax (843) 218-5963 Description: Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to negotiate, on a sole-source basis, with Digital Sandbox, Inc., 12801 Worldgate Drive, Suite 500, Herndon, VA 20170-4393. The primary purpose of this acquisition will be for follow-on engineering services to further develop, test and evaluate, and update an existing analysis process and associated toolkit. The contractor shall provide services for system architecture, model refinement, data gathering, analysis and processing validation and verification, and update of a Department of Homeland Security risk analysis process and report. This contract will serve as a follow on effort using formulated algorithms, proprietary to, and developed by Digital Sandbox. The contract will support efforts by the Department of Homeland Security to apply the analytics for local Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) represented by these algorithms to national enterprise CIP planning. The contract will support the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston ™s Intelligence and Information Warfare Engineering Department. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. Security clearance at the Secret level is required. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS Code is 541511 and FSC Code 7030 applies.
