- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is seeking vendors to supply four (4) CONTROLLERS WITH INTEGRATED MONITOR, KEYENCE CV-751, FOR INVERTED SHEET DETECTOR VISION SYSTEM. All qualified vendors must submit an offer in writing. Reference no. RFQ08-2670. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated porvisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Place of Delivery is Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131. Delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination. The provision of 52.212-1, Instruction to offers Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding an addenda to the provision. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items, applies to this procurement. The evaluation procedure to be used for this procurement is price and other non-price related factors. Offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the additional FAR clauses cited in the clauses are applicable to the acquisition: 52.222-19, 21, 26, 35, 36, 37, 52.225-1, 52.232-33 and 52.219-6. All sources must submit a quote with required Offeror Representations and Certifications by 5:00 pm CST, Sunday April 13, 2008. Quotes received after that time may not be considered. In order to evaluate quotations properly, please submit with your offer any correspondence, e.g., samples or literature, so that we can ensure you are offering what is requsted. Any correspondence sent to the Washington DC Facility will not be considered. The simplified acquisition precedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used.
