- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO RESTRUCTURE SECTION B AND AMEND THE QUANTITIES IDENTIFIED IN SECTION B. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP); solicitation number is H92244-08-R-0001, and a firm fixed price is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24 effective 28 February 2008. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 326299 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The Defense Priority and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) has a requirement to procure the following: Section B Schedule of Supplies Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Training Furniture constructed of foam and covered with a plastic coated nylon cover. SubLine Item Number (SLIN) 0001AA Office Setting including a desk, chair, bookshelf, short file cabinet and a tall file cabinet; QUANTITY 120 each SLIN 0001AB 1 each, Living Room Setting including a couch, coffee table, end table, folding chair, floor lamp and table lamp; QUANTITY 120 each SLIN 0001AC, 1 each, Bedroom Setting including a bed, bedside table, dresser and table lamp; QUANTITY 120 each CLIN 0002 Shipping Charges, Quantity 1 Lot Delivery date is 45 days after date of contract. Deliver to NSWDG, 1636 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23461-2299. FOB: Destination; Inspection and Acceptance at Destination by Government Specifications for Furniture: Brand Name or Equal Furniture must be suitable for small arms range, therefore, it cannot contain any metal (safety issue for fragmentation or ricochet), it must be fire resistant, very durable (weather, water, explosions, etc.) and must withstand abuses real furniture will not tolerate. The Not-a-line furniture is made specifically for shooting ranges and is not real furniture; it?s simulated furniture. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Except as specified herein, no order, statement, or conduct of Government personnel who visit the contractor?s facilities or in any other manner communicates with Contractor personnel during the performance of this contract shall constitute a change under the Changes clause in Section I. In the event the Contractor effects any change at the direction of any person other than the Contracting Officer, the change will be considered to have been made without authority and no adjustment will be made in the contract price to cover any increase in cost incurred as a result thereof.
