- This is a notice that Laughlin Air Force Base is seeking oral quotes for AVGAS (100LL) for Air Amistad 2008, IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a) (2). The contractor will need to furnish a fuel truck containing AVGAS for use during Air Amistad 2008 Laughlin AFB, Texas. Contractor will fuel non-DoD aircraft that arrive on 8-10 May 2008 and refuel the aircraft after the show on 10 May 2008. Contractor will provide an itemized list of aircraft by tail number and number of gallons received to be turned in with the invoice. Contractor will only be paid for the total gallons pumped. Upon receipt of the certified invoice the contracting squadron will certify receipt and authorize payment. Aircraft authorized servicing are P-40, A1D, Twin Beach, P-47, P-51, T-25, T-28, AC47, C-47, Confederate Air Force Trainers and T-6 Texans. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 488190 with a small business size standard of $6.5M.
