- The Government intends to issue a sole source delivery order against a GSA contract for the purchase of: Switch Master R5000 Series - 2 RU Chassis, P/N 5000722 (35 each); CAT6 switching A/B card, P/N 5000782 (560 each); RS-232 controller card, P/N 5000764 (35 each); Single slot power card, P/N 5100740 (35 each). Because of the standardization issues related to the compatibility of various hardware components such as drivers and associated software packages already procured for the existing system, the Switch Master R5000 series requested items, which seem to be only available through Market Central,Inc., are the only systems capable of providing the necessary configuration. The 55thContracting Squadron intends to award a delivery order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Sub-part 8.405-6(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
