- This amendment (01) to the subject pre-solicitation notice is made to correct clerical errors and provide clarification. 1. To correct a clerical error, change solicitation number from: N4044 2 -08-R-0002 to: N4044 6 -08-R-0002. Note: the contracting activity is currently working with FBO Help Desk to revise the solicitation number of the pre-solicitation notice posted on the FBO web site. 2. To correct a clerical error, change paragraph (2) of the Major Work Items from: (2) Main Engine 12,00 hr inspection, to: (2) Main Engine 12,000 hr inspection. 3. To clarify the basis of the non-competitive acquisition, change the opening sentence of the synopsis from: Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, Ship Support Unit Guam intends to award a contract on a non-competitive basis (sole source) to Guam Industrial Services Inc (DBA Guam Shipyard) for Regular Overhaul (ROH) of USNS ERICSSON (T-AO 194). to: Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, Ship Support Unit Guam intends to award a contract without providing for full and open competition to Guam Industrial Services Inc (DBA Guam Shipyard) for Regular Overhaul (ROH) of USNS ERICSSON (T-AO 194), per FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(i) to maintain a facility, producer, manufacturer, or other supplier available for furnishing supplies or services in case of a national emergency or to achieve industrial mobilization. 4. All other information contained in the pre-solicitation notice remains valid.
