- The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for duct cleaning services at the Veterans Administration Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) Livermore Division, Building 90 located at 4951 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA 94550. The base cost and scope of work shall include all HVAC equipment and associated duct work, fire dampers, and exhaust systems. The Department of Veterans Affairs is committed to provide a fresh, safe, and adequate supply of air per NFPA 90A&B NFPA 91, SMACNA, NADCA, ASHRAE, and CDC codes. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and the SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. If there are enough responses of interest to this notice the solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220. The size standard for this NAICS code is $13 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The approximate solicitation release date will be on or about April 10, 2008. The solicitation will be available solely through FedBizOpps. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number VA-261-08-RQ-0114. The solicitation and any related documents for this procurement will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested parties must have a Dun and Bradstreet Number, Federal Identification Number (FID), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and registered in the Veteran Information Pages at www.VETBIZ.GOV.
