- Description
- Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC), Shreveport LA, requires a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, material, quality control, supervision, transportation and all other necessary items to Upgrade Lightning Protection System (LPS) to include Repair the LPS on Buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4; extend the LPS on Building 1 to provide full coverage of Building 1; provide and install new LPS's on Buildings 6, 33, 6A, 25 and 31; and test and certify all repaired, extended and new LPS's at the OBVAMC in accordance with contract specifications and drawings. The solicitation is to be issued as a 100% Small Business (SB) Set-Aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238290. This size standard is $13.0 Million per year. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated issued date is April 15, 2008 and anticipated date for receipt of offers is May 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Local Time. All prospective SB offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendment(s) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for an award. Contractors may access the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov.
