- NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(a)(12). LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. This is an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for sustainment work of interior, Exterior repair and maintenance works, inclusive of painting, roof repair, wall repair, waterproofing, floor ceiling and temporary work, but not limited to, all other incidental work, at U.S. Army Installations at Hiroshima Area, Japan. Performance Period: 365 calendar days three (3) option periods. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be conducted at Kure Pier 6, Hiroshima-ken, Japan on 11 Jul 07, 1000 hours for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Participants must meet at Main Gate, Kure Pier 6 at 0945 hours on the same date. All offerors who will be attending the conference shall furnish in writing (fax or e-mail) the attendance(s) information (see subject RFP, Section L, 5352.215-9001, Paragraph (b)) to Mr. MURAKAMI, Ryuichiro, Fax 042-551-0973 or e-mail ryuichiro.murakami.jp@yokota.af.mil prior to COB 6 Jul 07. NO EXCEPTIONS. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-JUN-2007).
