- The Equal Employment Opporltunity Commission (EEOC) announces its intention to negotiate a Firm-fixed Price type contract to provide Technology Support for its Customer Response Function. The contract will be Performance Based and shall include: 1. Drafting the implementation plan; 1. Implementation of contractor proposed systems and software; 3. Testing network and interface; 4. Testing of the hosting migration; 5. Providing technology support for the customer response function; 6. Training services; and 7. Developing the Equipment Transition Plan. The contract will facilitate EEOC's effort to effectively bring the call answering functions from a contractor operations to an in-house function. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561421. The solicitation is expected to be posted at the FedBizOpps website: <a href="http://www.fedbizopps.gov">www.fedbizopps.gov</a>., on or before April 17, 2008, with an anticipated closing date for receipt of proposals 30 calendar days thereafter. It is anticipated that a preproposal conference to help industry understand the Government's requirement and discuss key aspects of the solicitation will be held on or about April 30, 2008. The Government intends to issue the forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 15, "Contracting by Negotiation." The period of performance consist of a 16 month base period, with four one-year options. The primary place of performance will be at the contractor's facility (site). The Government reserves the exclusive right to award using the Best Value tradeoff approach. The Government also reserves the right to award without discussions. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL and offerors should not submit formal proposals until the RFP is posted to this website. The intention of this notice is to notify potential offerors that a solicitation and any related documents will be available for download at the FedBizOpps website on or before April 17, 2008. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. All contractual and technical questions or comments must be submitted in writing, via e-mail, to Caroline A. Fowler, Contracting Officer @ <a href="mailto:caroline.fowler@eeoc.gov">caroline.fowler@eeoc.gov</a>, with a cc to: Anthony Price, Alternate Contracting Officer @ <a href="mailto:anthony.price@eeoc.gov">anthony.price@eeoc.gov</a>. Telephone or faxed questions will not be accepted. Contract award is expected to be in September 2008. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at <a href="http://www.ccr.gov">www.ccr.gov</a>.
