- The work includes earthwork, civil construction, and planting activities to restore coastal wetlands and provide recreational access. This work specifically includes, but is not limited to, establishing erosion and sediment control measures, clearing and grubbing, limited invasive species removal, demolition, excavation, filling, grading, paved and unpaved trail construction, paving, timber boardwalk and observation deck construction, shoreline protection installation, planting, and incidental related work. The proposed contract is HubZone Set-Aside with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237990 and Size Standard of $31 Million. Estimated cost range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available for electronic download on or about 15 April 2008. Bid opening date will be on or about 15 May 2008. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. Official access to the solicitation is via th! e Internet at the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website: https://www.fedteds.gov/ and may be downloaded free of charge. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded free-of-charge from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register as a plan holder for this solicitation to receive updates via the Neco website: https://www.neco.navy.mil.
