Description

The National Park Service, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, (SFAR) has identified a requirement to maintain/repair/provide preventative maintenance for three elevators. The successful contractor will furnish all labor, material, equipment and expertise's necessary to provide maintenance on these elevators. The successful contractor will be certified to perform the services. This procurement will result in award of a contract consisting of a Base Period, and 4 Option Periods. The solicitation will be issued electronically on Department of Interiors (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://www.ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Interested contractors desiring to conduct business with DOI are required to register at the web site. This service provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the web site periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the procurement documents. No other notification will be sent. Project Description: The anticipated work includes: The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials and equipment to provide inspections, preventative maintenance and repair service for elevators and overhead crane at various locations within the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, Building E, Lower Fort Mason and the Sala Burton Maritime Museum building, located at 900 Beach Street, San Francisco, California. This procurement is open competitive to all Business sizes. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of Women Owned and Minority Firms. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued o/a April 15, 2008. NAICS Code for this project is 238290. Award selection will be based on the overall best value to the government after considering price and other factors.
