- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order on sole source basic to International Data Corporation. For the following: (1 Year) Access to Pricing Intelligence Service (SmartAnalysis) and Tools (SmartIndex and SmartBuy) in support of our Network Equipment, x86 Distributed Computing and Enterprise Storage equipment. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement at terms and conditions equal to or better than those which can be provided by International Data Corporation should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish the entire requirement. No equivalents accepted. Responses to this notice must be received by this office within fifteen (15) business days of the date of publication of this synopsis. All quotes shall include: Price(s); FOB point; Point of contact (name and telephone number); GSA contract number if applicable; delivery date; business size; payment terms; taxpayer indentification number and Dun & Bradstreet number. Responses can be sent electronically to the following address: <a href="mailto:david.f.smith@irs.gov">david.f.smith@irs.gov</a> In addition, responses can also be sent by facsimile to (202)283-1290. Facsimile responses must contain signature, and be received by the time specified in the synopsis, and may not exceed 10 pages. All questions must be submitted in writing. All responses must reference the number: P8P30LSAA00000). If a response is received that meets all of the Government requirements, and an analysis of both technical and pricing documentation indicate that a competitive acquistion would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. Request for the same will be considered non-responsive.
