Description

THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% HUBZONE SET-ASIDE. This project includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment required to construct a 16 feet wide gravel road approximately 5,000 linear feet, 8,130 square feet of gravel parking lots, 1,350 square feet of concrete parking pads with 130 linear feet of side walk leading to a 600 square feet concrete observation deck. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader, Fort Niobrara NWR, HC 14, Box 67, Valentine, NE 69201, telephone number (402) 376-3789. Failure of the Contractor to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve him from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The total performance is 180 days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% Hubzone Set-aside. The NAICS code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, and the size standard is $31 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about April 18, 2008 with an anticipated closing date of May 19, 2008.
