Description
The VA Medical Center, Boise Idaho is soliciting for multiple awards to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Contractors to provide labor, equipment, material and supervision for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a broad range of maintenance, alteration & repair, demolition and minor construction projects. Task Orders may involve, but shall not be limited to: demolition; HVAC; plumbing; mechanical, electrical; lighting; carpentry; finish work; stucco; metal work; welding; steam fitting; concrete; masonry; roofing; flooring; interior & exterior painting; window & door installation; asbestos abatement; lead floor covering, lead shielded walls; asphalt & concrete paving; landscaping; site work & excavation; utilities; sewers; retaining walls and fencingIndividual task orders will be negotiated only after specific projects have been approved and funded. Task orders may be issued from date of award through 09-30-08. Task orders may also be issued during an option term if any of the 4 option periods are exercised. The guaranteed minimum is $25,000 for the entire contract period (including option years). The total value of awarded task orders in any given year (base year or option years) shall not exceed $5,000,000.00. The total value of the contract including all option periods shall not exceed $12,000,000.00. The yearly maximum and contract maximum are not guaranteed amounts. No Task order shall include Architect/Engineering services; however, informal (shop) drawings, incidental to the job, reflecting the plan of action and the completed project, may be included. This procurement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business. The NAICS code is 236220 (size standard = $31 million). Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer, via fax at 208-422-=1139 or email to pam.pope@va.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The solicitation will be issued on/about April 15, 2008, with a proposal response expected to be May 15, 2008. Technical Evaluation Criteria for this solicitation are as follows: 1. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factor considered. Technical factors to evaluate offers shall be: Past Performance, Personnel/Equipment, and price.
