- PR Number(s): FD20300801434Presolicitation NoticeDate Created 29 MAR 2008 61 -ELECTRIC WIRE, AND POWER AND DISTRIBUTION EQUIPMENT Services, Non-Personal, Repair: The Contractor shall provide all labor,facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair,modifications, test, packing and packaging and return to the Governmentin accordance with the work specifications contained in thesolicitation, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. Afirm fixed price type contract is contemplated for this contract. Theitem and estimated quantities are a follows: This is a request for athree (3) year Requirement Contract. Quantities are as follows: BaseYear - 20 each; Option Year I - 20 each; Option Year II - 20 each. CLIN 0001 NSN: 6130-01-067-6049HY P/N: SN488-BCLIN 0002 Over and AboveCLIN 0003 Data Destination: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3028. Delivery: 60ARO/ARR. This solicitation is to obtain a three (3) year firm fixed pricerequirements contract for the repair of CARD PLUG IN with 100%contractor furnished material. The approximate issue of thesolicitation date will be 14 APRIL 2008. Approximate award date is 30MAY 2008. Source: KEPCO (85604). Written procedure will be used forthis solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxedrequests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Allresponsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotationall of which shall be considered. The proposed contract action is for supplies and servicesfor which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one,or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302.Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respondto the requirements or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not arequest for competitive proposals. However all proposals receivedwithin 45 days (30, if award is issued under an existing basic orderingagreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be consideredby the government. A determination by the Government not co competethis proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solelywithin the discretion of the Government. Information received willnormally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether toconduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement describedare incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by theGovernment. It is suggested that small business firms or others interest insub-contracting opportunities in connection with described procurementmake contact with the firms(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
