- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with The MathWorks, 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick MA for the purchase of software maintenance and recertification to include upgrades, updates, and technical support for (5) existing MatLab Licenses for the recertification period of 01 February 2008 through 29 February 2008 and maintenance period of 1March 2008 through 31 January 2009. The Mathworks is the sole developer of MatLab Licenses. No other company can provide upgrades or technical support. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 561990. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).</p> NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-APR-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
