- Description
- The Forest Service is requesting industry input on a draft solicitation for Potable Water Trucks, Gray Water Trucks, and Trailer Mounted Handwashing Stations in support of fire suppression and all-risk incidents. When finalized, a standard solicitation will be issued on a Regional basis throughout the United States. Comments must be provided via electronic mail to vrdpist@fs.fed.us no later than close of business April 18, 2008. Telephone inquiries/ comments will not be accepted. This draft is being issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation for the receipt of offers. All information contained in the draft solicitation is preliminary, subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the government. The requested comments are for information purposes only; there will be no formal posting of any comments received, but they may be considered by the government. Respondents are advised that the Forest Service is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of information or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. When solicitation(s) are released, they will be synopsized in FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
