- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of Phlebotomist(s) services for the Federal Correctional Complex, 1060 River Road, Hopewell, VA 23860. The contract period shall consist of a base period from effective date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor shall provide Phlebotomist(s) services consistent with community standards. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. Services will be performed on individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated 1500 one hour sessions per Phlebotomist. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 11, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. All Contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about May 9, 2008, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the Solicitation, block #8 for the actual date quotations are due. All responsible small businesses must submit a quote to be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
