Item 0001, NSN 5996-01-399-6366QD, P/N: 473131-002, applicable to the F-15. AMC: 3D. Dimensions: HT=4.03", W=7.0", Depth=5.62",WT=5.3lbs. Description: A case made of corrosion-resistant metal alloys that contain 4 Circuit Cards made of fiberglass resin mounted with a total of 273 resistors, 233 capacitors, 70 diodes, 15 transistors, 27 microcircuits, 3 transformers and 17 relays that process fuel quantity capacity signals from the various aircraft fuel tanks for use on the fuel qty indicators. The Signal Conditioner contains 4 each circuit boards which provide voltages/signals to associated components of the fuel system. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-9013, FB2039. FOB: Origin. Inspection/Acceptance: Source. Delivery: Qty 27 each, (Min: 7/Max: 41) on or before 27 Feb 2009. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 23 Jan 2008. The anticipated award date will be 3 Apr 2008. The following source has been approved for this acquisition: Sole Source, Simmonds Precision Products, (Cage Code: 89305), Vergennes, VT 05491-1013. Previously awarded to Simmonds Precision Products, Inc., Jun 2005, Qty 1 each, Unit Price less than $27,500. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
