Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Water Tower) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-08-Q-0020 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332420. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 3443. The small business size standard is 500 EMP. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9.The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is 5445. The requirement is for the installation of two (2) water tanks within the Range 200/Range 215 and Range 400 complexess aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command Twenty-nine Palms, CA. The following is a list of what is needed: CLIN 001: Delivery and installation of (2) 12,000 gallon water tanks: The contractor shall provide (2) 12,000 gallon water tanks, with 12? quick opening/closing valve and Plexiblack rust resistant interior coating on each, and install them at the following locations: (1) Range 200/215 complex, and (1) at Range 400 complex. The winning contractor shall coordinate with G-3 Range Development at 760 830-4787 for a delivery and installation time that will not interfere with ongoing training operations. Place of contract delivery will be Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC) Twentynine Palms, CA. All bidders are required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow. The Following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. The Government intends on awarding a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible/responsive offeror whose proposal conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the Government, considering lowest price technically acceptable offer.
