Description

The National Park Service, Pinnacles National Monument, has identified a requirement to solicit the drilling of a test hole to determine the suitability for a potable well to replace a failing well for the Pinnacles Campground. This solicitation is for full and open competition. This project consists of direct mud rotary test hole drilling up to 200 feet total depth with 16" bore to 50 feet with 6" ductile iron and concrete sanitary seal installed (.118" thickness or greater) and a 15' screen approximately .0010" slot size based on strata. A gravel pack will consist of 3/8" washed p-gravel from bottom of bore to 6" below grade. The National Park Service encourages and welcomes the participation of all small business firms, minority-owned business firms, and women-owned business concerns. The solicitation, Q8450080736, will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, approximately 15 days after this announcement. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237110 with a size standard for Small Business of $31.0 million. The magnitude will be between $25,000 and $100,000.
