Description: The purpose of this amendment is to include: Offerors shall submit option year pricing in their proposals. Options will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 17.2. Questions and answers regarding Leech Lake Mowing solicitation: 1. What was the past contract award amount? In 2006 and 2007 there were no contract awards for mowing. In years 2001 through 2005 there was a contract award for maintenance, which included mowing, with one base year and 4 option years. The price just for mowi ng was not itemized. You are encouraged to see the site. 2. How many acres are to be mowed? It is estimated that the mowing is about 40 to 50 acres. Simply stating the acres to be mowed does not provide any indication of the terrain, or number of trees and facilities that require trimming. You are encouraged to see the site for your own evaluation. 3. How may acres does the park cover? The park has a total of about 100 acres. 4. Do I have to quote all the option years? This is a soli citation for one base year and 4 option years. If you do not quote on the option years your quote will not be considered.
