- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, is seeking sources to provide A/E services to include site investigation, design development, drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction period services and site visits. The project will include the following: provide a secondary utility water feed to the VAMC Wilkes-Barre. The design shall incorporate the additional feed into the existing facility systems, allowing for complete facility operation from either feed. The design shall include all appropriate valves, isolation control, monitoring and alarm systems for the water supply lines to the facility. Work under Redundant Water Supply Loop Project will include architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical/HVAC design for the proposed location. Design will include the application of VA Master Construction Specifications. Asbestos and lead paint removal may also be encountered under this project. The estimated construction budget is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The area of consideration for this acquisition is restricted to firms within 75 driving miles of the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre. Interested firms must submit two (2) copies of SF330 with appropriate documentation to Contracting Officer (693/049B), VAMC, 1111 East End Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 by the close of business April 11, 2008. NAICS Code 541330 applies. This is not a request for proposals. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. See numbered notes 1 and 24. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
