- Description
- This is notice of intent to issue a modification against existing contract number AB133C-06-SE-3531 with Amanda Bowman for Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) located in La Jolla, CA. The original purchase order was issued in the amount of $30,000.00 for research and troubleshooting of two or more Genetic analyzer and provide recommendations in development of relevant, in-house software for the operation of SWFSC equipment. Recently, SWFSC made an unexpected major change in the equipment being used for collecting genetic data. Modification 01 to existing contract will add funds in the amount of $5,000.00. The additional funds will cover the additional cost associated with change in equipment, development of new software and completion of work. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. Questions concerning this acquisition must be done in writing and may be faxed to Maria Mendoza at (206)526-6025. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
