- AG-0261-S-08-0025 Thinning & Associated Slash Treatment in the North Kennedy Cottonwood Areas. Approximately 447 acres. THE SCOPE AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE IN THE SOLICITATION. This contract requires tree thinning from below with associated slash treatment and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. PROJECT LOCATION: Emmett Ranger District, Emmett Idaho. General work vicinity may be reached by Forest Roads that are accessible by standard two-wheel drive pickup during normal operating seasons. A four-wheel drive may be needed when roads are wet, icy or snow covered. The vicinity maps will show the roads that may not be drivable with the use of two (2) wheel or four (4) wheel drive vehicle. The location of the contract units will be shown on the Vicinity Maps and Contract Maps contained in the solicitation. ESTIMATED START DATE is July 1, 2008 and ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: November 30, 2008. NAICS code: 115310. Size Standard: $6.5 Million. See numbered note #1.
