- This project requires approximately 8-10 miles of road decommissioning on the Lochsa Ranger District. The area is located 6.4 miles up the Smith Creek Road 101 to road #418. Work ranges from full recontouring to outsloping the road surface. Also culvert removal, fill removal from streams and draws, constructing cross-drain channels, streambed stabilization, clump planting and other work involved in decommissioning. Estimated start work: June 15, 2008.
