- Due to todays site visit, the following clarification points were discussed: --There are 32 sets instead of 30 sets as stated in the Statement of Work --The tent cleaning is to be completed in the contractor's area --The contractor will pick-up the tents and deliver them once cleaned --The tents must be cleaned by no later than 12 May 2008 --As stated in the --Summary of Work-- (#4) in the Statement of Work, the contractor must ID any rips and tears in tents There are liners for the tents made of material similar to myler, which will need to be cleaned as well ALL BIDS MUST BE AT 36 CONS (CONTRACTING OFFICE) AT ANDERSEN AFB TO MS. EDNA V. MARTINEZ (671)366-6612,(AS STATED IN THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION) BY 1300 HRS (1:00 P.M. CH ST TIME) ON FRIDAY, 28 MARCH 2008 This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20080303. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561720, size standard $6.5M. The contractor shall provide the following Services: Cleaning Requirements for Alaska Shelter NSN: 8340-01-1512-0077 Equipment type: Alaska Small Shelter, Tan. Each Alaska Shelter is 20' wide x 32.5' long x 10' high. Each shelter has a lightweight, high-strength aluminum frame, mil-spec vinyl cover system, insulating liners, non-slip vinyl floor, 30" x 72" hard door, 3' x 7' zipper entry, (4) end panel windows, (2) sets of 18" ECU ports, (2) 6" electrical ports, (1) electrical kit with light string, (1) plenum, and (2) end panel vents with net inserts. Equipment quantity: 30 sets Requirements: Personal Protective Equipment, Steel Toe Shoes,Gloves, leather, Eye Protection (if needed), Ear Protection (if needed), Cleaning Equipment/Supplies, Pressure washer, Air blower, Scrub brushes, Pails/buckets, Water hose and nozzle, Tarpaulins, Light detergent. Summary of Work: Inspect for rodents, bugs and critters, Clean all parts associated to the Alaska Small Shelter, Tan, Remove all stain, dirt and debris, Identify irreversible stains and report action taken, Identify damages (rips, tears, cuts, dents and scratches) and report these to Quality Assurance Personel.
