Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering leasing four (4) commercially available photocopiers for either 24 or 36-month each. Included in this acquisition are parts, supplies, and maintenance with the following specification requirements (NOTE: This is not Brand Name Specific): ? Network Printing in B&W and Color from Window XP/Vista computers ? Print Speed:35 PPM, best quality ? Duplex Printing ? Walk-up copying ? Output collating ? Network Resolution: 1200 x 1200dpi ? Copy Resolution: 600 x 600dpi ? Total Paper Capacity: 200 Sheets; Standard paper output: 500 sheet stacker ? Paper Size: Letter and Legal ? Automatic document input feeder: 50 pages ? 10.100 Ethernet network printer server ? B/W and color scanning to Lotus Notes and other email systems and network storage ? Ability to send scanned images by typing or looking up email addresses on the device console ? Scanning includes creation of Acrobat PDF and TIFF formats ? Dual sided scanning from input feeder ? Stapling and stacking of output from desktop printing ? Duty cycle load: 20,000 pages/month ? Hard-drive for private delayed printing, storage or job caching ? Novell NDPS IPrint compliant ? Ability to disable unused protocols and/or ports ? Ability to use SNMP or Telnet to change community strings ? Language supported: PCL, Postscript, PDF ? 512 MB memory ? Floor-mounted stand with storage on wheels (removable for placement on countertop surface) The EPA is considering either an Open Market or GSA schedule lease. If you consider the above specification requirements restrictive to particular Brand Name equipment, please notify us. If you would fulfill this requirement via a GSA schedule contract, include the contract number in your response. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
