- Description
- The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a 2-yr basic and three 1-yr options for the repair of the 463L pallet. NSN: 1670-00-820-4896CT; P/N: MIL-DTL-27443 TYPE I; Quantity: Basic period - max 120,000 each, Option periods: max 60,000 ea per year. Delivery: 120 days ARO at a minimum rate of 5,000/month. Initial ramp up schedule will be allowed as follows: 2000/mo within 120 days, 3500/mo within 210 days, and 5000/mo within 270 days. Award will be made using Performance/Price Tradeoff (PPT) Best Value procedures. First article will be required for non-qualified sources. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with AFMC FAR Sup 5352.217-9006 (Mission Essential Quantity) - Insurance Policy procedures: If the low offeror is an unproven source then Insurance policy procedures will be utilized. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" may apply. Numbered Note 22 applies only to the quantity identified as the mission essential quantity in the solicitation. MEQ quantity - max 62,000ea plus option of max 15,000ea. This acquisition involves export controlled data. Anticipated issue date: 4 Feb 08. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-JAN-2008).
