- Description
- GSA intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR Part 6 to UpToDate, 95 Sawyer Road, Waltham, MA for an on-line subscription database to access clinical resource information for a base period of 11 months with 4 one-year optional renewal periods. This requirement is for clinical reference material in electronic form through database access. The proposal will be technically acceptable provided it is an on-line accessible medical reference tool accessed over the internet via a web browser. The tool must be intuitive to use, follow a hierarchy of evidence consistent with most evidence-based resources. The top of the hierarchy shall have randomized trials of high methodological quality,followed by randomized trials with methodological limitations, observational studies, and unsystematic clinical observations. The data shall provide descriptions of disease conditions,symptoms and differential diagnosis, approaches to evaluation including laboratory and radiologic testing, treatment options, and recommended follow-up. Offerors who propose other thanUpToDate service should provide technical data and/or literature to demonstrate their capabilityto provide this product IAW the SOW.
