- The U. S. Geological Survey intends to make award on a sole source basis to the Regents of the University of Minnesota to purchase the services of a graduate research assistant. The research assistant will work with the USGS in studying the effects of parasitic sea lampretys in the Great Lakes. USGS has determined that no other sources can meet the requirements for this particular study. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about March 31, 2008, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541712. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
