- Q171008A168. This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about April 10, 2008. A PAPER SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Telephone, fax, or email requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The work of this contract consists of the replacement of approximately 51 linear feet of 1-1/2" diameter copper underground water service line including a water meter, two backflow preventers and an irrigation manifold. The water meter, one of the backflow preventers and the irrigation manifold will be relocated to the basement of the Adam's Carriage House. The work includes the installation of irrigation valves, timer, approximately 20 linear feet of 1" diameter PVC waterline to reconnect the existing irrigation lines and removal and repaving of the asphalt driveway apron/sidewalk. Optional work includes the installation of trench drains through the sidewalk and in the boiler room, the cleaning of the underdrain next to the building with extension of the ends to daylight and sealing the foundation wall around the heating pipe penetration where water appears to be seeping into the boiler room. Work to be performed at Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, MA. Work is to be completed by June 27, 2008. NAICS 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. This solicitation is set aside for HubZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Estimated price is under $100,000. Hard copy quote documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic quote documents will be accepted). Quotes must be received at Acadia National Park, P. O. Box 177, Route 233, McFarland Hill, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609 by close of business on May 16, 2008. A complete quote package shall include one copy of completed SF 18, Request for Quotation, with original signature; completed quote schedule; and completed section K, Representations and Certifications.
