- The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or s ubmit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested companies shall respond to this notice by provid ing the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of Contact information with telephone number and email address, 4) Cage Code, 5) Capabilities information/statement showing that the company has the ability to fulfill the Government requ irement as described herein. The contractor shall be able to comply with all requirements described herein to be considered capable. This notice of intent to award a sole source is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The NAICS code is 56612. SIC co de is R499. The Government requirement is for increased law enforcement services at the following locations: 1.) Bell County (Belton Lake) 2.) Bell County (Stillhouse Hollow Lake). If additional technical information is needed, please contact Mr. Timothy Gibson, at (817) 886-1571. Once the solicitation is released, to be eligible to receive a Government contract award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov. RESPONSES TO THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE shall be emailed to terry.l.teichmann@usace.army.m il. NO fax or traditional mail submissions shall be accepted. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Firms intending to provide submittals must submit detailed information indicating their abilities. A ll inquiries must be received by 12 PM (1200) CST 27 March 2008.
