- Description
- The US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command intends to procure licenses and support for an already developed commercial off the shelf (COTS) software system that has already been implemented and highly integrated with other C OTS software systems and developmental Software Defined Radio hardware. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed-Fee type contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Communications Research Centre (CRC), 3701 Carling Ave, Ottawa, Canada under the aut hority of 10 U.S.C. 23041(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Use of any other software system would require significant software modifications and would severely impact the Software Defined Radio Laboratory. Therefore, CRC is the only contractor that possesses the requisite in-depth technical expertise, experience and knowledge of the system design to meet the Governments requirements. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W15P7T-08-R-P423 is assigned for reference purposes. The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFP) Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Invitation for Bids (IFB) from C-E LCMC to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with C-E LCMC are inv ited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. See Note 22
