- Sole Source: The United States Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Yuma Directorate of Contracting, Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with OCCAM Networks, 6868 Cor tona Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93117. This requirement is for two (2) items No. 1 - Qty 1 each Gold Service Plus 1.1, One Year Gold Service Contract Renewal (Support, Maint/Feature, Extended HW Warranty, Refresher Training courses) - Item Number 98-0000 8-06I; No. 2 - Qty 1 each - TMS/ESW RTU SW License Item Number 00-00023-01. This requirement must conform to the fit, form and function of the existing hardware and software currently in use at the YPGs Range Digital Transmission System (RDTS), Informa tion Division, Yuma, Arizona. OCCAM Networks is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and holds proprietary data rights on the existing system being utilized at YPG. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Responses oth er than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number, business size and shall be cle arly marked with solicitation number W9124R-08-T-1027.
