Description: THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE ORIGINAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO ESTABLISH BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENTS (BPAS) WITH LOCAL AREA MOVING CONTRACTORS IN THE LAWTON-FORT SILL AREA FOR OFFICE RELOCATIONS ON FORT SILL, OKLAHOMA. Directorate of Contracting, Fort Sil l, Oklahoma, intends to award Blanket Purchase Agreements with moving Contractors located within a 60-mile radius of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, for office relocations in support of Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). This proposed contract action is for furnis hing boxes, moving supplies, and actual moving services for varied locations and multiple moves on Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Some relocation requirements will require Contractor to provide storage containers that are lockable, air tight, water tight and rodent proof. Specific dates for moves are established on individual requirements. Suspense times for move completions range from two (2) weeks (short notice) to 30 days. Moves and relocations are estimated to be accomplished from April 2008 through November 2009. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. All notifications received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Governme nt not to issue agreements outside the 60-mile radius based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
