Description
Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) is in the process of re-invigorating the discipline of scheduling. With regards to this process, ASC is looking at multiple disciplines within the broad umbrella of schedule. The major components of this initiative are 1) Microsoft Project expertise (mechanical manipulation of Project); 2) creation and generation of an integrated program master schedule (IMS); 3) expertise in other scheduling software; 4) multiple techniques to assess the health of a IMS such as critical path analysis, total slack reports, schedule reserve metrics and performance trend analysis; 5) Earned Schedule analysis; 6) Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA?s); 7)collection and analysis of historical data to build schedule estimating relationships and 8) development of training in any of the above listed areas.
