- Description
- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for non-personal service to maintain a VersaTrek Blood Culture Analyzer system at Ehrling Bergquist Clinic . The VersaTrek Blood Culture analyzer needs to be maintained in order for it to provide uninterrupted support for the 55th Medical Group. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Ethicon Corp. is the manufacturer of the equipment and is currently the only known authorized company to distribute their products. The procurement of this service must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements. Questions should be directed to SrA Enrique L.
