- This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12. This acquisition is for the provision of Milk and Dairy Products for the Miami VA Healthcare System in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation and resulting contract. This procurement is unrestricted. NAICS code 311511, size standard 500 Employees. The contract period will consist of one (1) base period. The electronic Solicitation for RFQ VA-248-08-RP-0243 may be downloaded at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The contractor is responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from the FBO website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Miami Healthcare System. Interested firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via e-mail to Dian.Williams@va.gov, or fax your written request to (305) 575-3280 attention Dian E. Williams. Solicitation issue date will be on or about 26 March 2008, with offers tentatively due 14 days thereafter. Proposals shall be submitted by April 10, 2008 at 3:00 pm (EST) either by mail or handcarried to 1201 NW 16th St., Miami, Florida, 33125. Fax/E-mail proposals will not be accepted. All necessary solicitation documents will be available on/after March 26, 2008 on the FedBizOpps system, including any amendments.
