- Description: The Portland VA Medical Center intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Integra Neurosciences for the following requirement: 24 KHZ Microsurgical Neuro Handpiece 24KHZ Short Angled Neuro Handpiece 24KHZ Straight Neuro Handpiece The estimated amount of this procurement is $98,164.00 In accordance with FAR part 6.302-2 this procurement is an Unusual and Compelling Urgent requirement for Ultrasonic Neuro Handpiece for the department of surgery of the Operative Care Division of the PVAMC. It is in the best interest of the government to procure this device to maintain patient care due to the replacement requirement under urgency situations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis is solely within the discretion of the government. No solicitation will be issued.
