Description
The U.S.Department of Labor is seeking to contract with registered nurses, intermittently and part-time in Santa Barbara, Oxnard, San Diego, and Los Angeles, CA, the stae of Hawaii, San Francisco CA Bay Area, Chico, Redding and Eureka, CA Region, and Tuscon, AR to coordinate medical management of injured federal workers. The period of performance for such contracts will be 2 years, plus 3 one year options. Minimum requirements are: Applicable state licensure, 2 years case management experience, and 2 years medical-surgical experience. Applicants must have computer skills and provide their own personal computer and internet connectivity to work on cases. Due to privacy concerns, use of public access computers or public access internet is not acceptable. The reimbursement rate if $75 per hour for professional time and $37 per hour for administrative/travel time. A one day certification training in San Francisco, CA is mandatory. No reimbursement for travel or lodging for certification training is provided. Applicants selected as Contract Field nurses will be subject to the Privact Act of 1974 in all matters related to federal employees and federal employee records. Federal employees and nurses working as contractors for other federal agency nurse intervention return to work programs are precluded from applying.
