- Description
- The Department of Justice, Executive Office for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force(OCDETF) New York/New Jersey region intends to procure a venue in which to hold a Regional Conference on April 23-25, 2008 in Newport, Rhode Island. This location is central to these two OCDETF Regions(NY/NJ & NE) and its attendees. The conference will have up to 402 attendees. The venue must include at a minimum: 40 sleeping rooms on 4/22/2008; 300 sleeping rooms on 4/23/2008; 300 sleeping rooms on 4/24/2008 with checkout on 4/25/2008 at the Government per diem rate or less. All attendees will be responsible for making their on hotel reservations. There is no guarantee that all these rooms will be used and the Government is not responsible if rooms are not used. Individual attendees shall be responsible for their incurred room and tax charges as well as incidental charges upon check-out. The cost of these hotel rooms is not covered under this contract.
