- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis Motorola MC70 Handheld Devices. 23 ea Symbol, MC-7090 Wireless Terminal; 8 ea MC70 Four Slot Ethernet Cradle Kit; 27 ea SanDisk Extreme III GB Secure Digital Memory Card; 23 ea Auto Charge Cable; 25 ea MC70 1 year service center (Service on the unit themselves, authorized suppliers of Motorola sells that agreement); 23 ea Datasplice Initial Devise Set-up and Provisioning - (Performs testing and loads the Maximo mobile software/load trend anti-virus software on the devices); 27 ea Datasplice Annual Handheld Devise Provisioning - yearly renewal - (Performs new patches on software or version upgrades and pushes the information to the individual PDA's). Western believes Datasplice LLC is the only known source that can provide the initial devise set-up and provisioning software upgrades necessary for this purchase. Anticipated award is 07 Apr 08. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government???s requirements by emailing the CS or faxing the CS at 970-240-6314. Capability statements must include documentation ability to satisfy the Government???s requirements. Any information received will be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. Interested persons should identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
