- The Kootenai National Forest, Libby Ranger District, is soliciting proposals for Watershed Restoration. Work includes road storage activities of 14 miles of road in the Riverview subunit and 10 miles in the East Fork of Pipe Creek. Work also includes in-stream channel work in Pipe Creek and Granite Creek of approximately 2,000 feet, consisting of in-stream fisheries habitat creation and the construction of j-hooks and cross-veins. Estimated start work date is 6/23/08, completion date is 9/1/08.
