- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement for lease of various material handling equipment including forklifts and aerial work platforms for use at Puget Sound Detachment, NAS North Island, San Diego, CA. All units must meet all OSHA requirements for type/style of MHE. The contractor will be responsible for providing service within 8 hours of a service call for length of the rental and provide an equal replacement within 8 hours of onset of failure. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. A solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for the inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX r equest will be accepted and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. This procurement effort will processed in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13.5. The solicitation is not available at this time. The solicitation will be posted on the NECO website on or about 26 March. The solicitation will be unrestricted.
