- Description
- Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure (1) each P/N 4500B-01 Dual Channel Peak, RF Power Meter and (2) each P/N 56006 Peak RF Power Sensor from Boonton Electronics Corporation. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis with Boonton Electronics Corporation, Parsippany, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Boonton Electronics Corp is the sole manufacturer and source of supply of these products. The Government does not own current data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition of these items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
