- Description
- Solicitation 8008-22 seeks helicopter flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs fire suppression programs at Window Rock, AZ. The helicopter will be based at Window Rock Airport (RQE) 7 days per week approximately June 2 through July 31. The exclusive use period will be 60 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires a 5 passenger seat turbine engine powered helicopter. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 31, 2008. It is a requirement that the successful awardee be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). The solicitation will also be available at www.amd.nbc.gov. The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
