- The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the United States Army Communication Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) intends to issue Solicitation W15P7T-08-B-E404 for competitive Sealed Bids on or around 9 April 2008 f or Delta-Wye Transformer Assemblies, NSN: 5950-01-318-8011. This transformer is used in the Maintenance Repair Shelter AN/ASM-146 and converts the wye-type primary power input, generated by the external 100 Hz power source (generator), to delta 3-phase po wer.??This acquisition will utilize a Five (5) year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract with four (4) one year options. First Article Requirements will be included in the solicitation IAW FAR 52-209-3.? Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. The U.S. Army CECOM has established an Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Invitation for Bids (IFBs ) from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send, and receive information from the IBOP website at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor this site fo r release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments or information. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) to receive contract award or payment.
