- DESC: NSN 1005-01-394-1928, Part Number 12597070. The item to procure is the Trigger Housing Assembly for the M240 Machine Gun. Item consists of numerous Close Tolerance Formed Machined Parts and are described as follows: Trigger Housing, Actuating Assembly, Right and Left Machine Gun Grips, Sear, Three Headless Straight Pins, Roller, Trigger Assembly, Small Arms Safety, Sear Catch Beam, Helical Spring, Hex-Head Self Locking Bolt and Nut. Phosphate finish is required per MIL-DTL-16232 (Finish Series 5.3 of MIL-STD-171). Proposed contract is a Total HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside. Minimum requirements are 600 each, with a 200% Option. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 10 April 2008. The response date listed is an estimate only. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY08 requirement. This solicitation will incorporate a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will not be posted with the solicitation once the solicitation is issued to the web. Offerors are hereby notified that in order to receive access to the TDP, all offerors are required to execute a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. The Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement will be downloadable when the solicitati on is issued to the web. An official authorized to legally bind the company must execute the agreement by completing and signing the agreement. Upon execution of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, it must be returned to Dave Buennig by e-mail to d avid.buennig@us.army.mil or by fax to (309) 782-2362. Upon receipt of the signed agreement, the offeror will be granted access to the TDP. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in o rder to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
